Berwyn-Devon Business Association
The Berwyn-Devon Business and Professional Association (BDBA) was founded in 1931 and has been established as a 501(c) 6 non-profit organization.
The BDBA invites every commercial business entity, non-profit organization and professional individual or association that has an interest in the Berwyn-Devon business area to join its diverse membership.
As a business association, the BDBA provides:
- Marketing, networking, educational and community service opportunities for our membership.
- Periodic meetings offer informative, educational and entertaining programming to support our members’ respective businesses and professions.
- Gatherings present occasions for our members to exchange information, discuss mutual problems and maintain a personal and social continuum of contact with fellow members.
The BDBA coordinates community activities and efforts that benefit our members, our neighbors and families in our area. We feel that its important to give back to the community that sustains our livelihood. Berwyn and Devon are jewels on the Main Line and wonderful, amazing and incredible places to work and live.
Happenings in Berwyn & Devon
The Old Boot Shop to become Barbershop, Café & More
The old Boot Shop is currently under construction to become the home to Razrbar’s boutique barber shop with the main house becoming Parlous Doughnuts and Coffee and residential units above. Doughnut lovers can hang out on the wrap around porch or on the open patios!! 12 car parking lot is constructed in the rear.
Haus of Paws Coming to Berwyn
Haus of Paws is coming to Berwyn – originally opening in Devon, Mainline Dogs and Doodles are begging for more spa amenities – owners Michael and Joe are relocating and expanding into the former Berwyn Hardware building with 4500 SF of grooming and 4000 SF of daytime dog day care.
More Butterflies and Honey Bees in Berwyn!
Eadeh Enterprises has partnered with Easttown Township’s Pollinator Garden Guru’s to bring more beauty, more honey bees and more butterflies to Berwyn. Keep an eye out for rain garden boxes and gardens along Rt. 30 through out the township – We love our bees!
Monthly Food Trucks at Bronze Plaza
The Monthly Bite has begun!! The First Wednesday of each month from May through December, various food trucks will feed lunch goers at the Bronze Plaza – open to anyone who is hungry and decides to upgrade their PB&J!!
Berwyn Farmer’s Market Celebrates Third Year
The Berwyn Farmer’s Market is boasting a brilliant 3rd year at the Bronze Plaza. Continued to be led by Erika Duncan, the weekly market brings fresh food, delicious treats, food trucks, live music, the kid zone for fun crafts and a place that we can all gather together as a community! Hours are 9-12 each Sunday, Winter Hours start January to April and are the 2nd and 4th Sundays!
